1. Know the Weather!

Knowing the weather of where you are traveling to is very important! I learned this the hard way last summer when I came to Germany. The air in Germany is much drier than Florida, even though much like Florida it rains often. So, last year I continued to use the foundation I used in Florida which was a big mistake because my skin became super dry. This year I bought a foundation specifically for when my skin is dry or I am in a dryer climate. The foundation I use is Estee Lauder’s Perfectionist Youth-Infusing Makeup with Broad Spectrum SPF 25 in the color 5W2 Rich Carmel.

2. Moisturize!
It’s important to moisturize your skin! If you don’t moisturize your skin not only will it dry out, but it will not give it anytime to heal itself. Especially, if you are flying it is important to moisturize your skin because it will dry out on the plane. My favorite moisturizing creme is by La Mer. It may be a bit expensive, but it is totally worth it because it is super hydrating and super healing.

3. Stay Hydrated

So not only is good to moisturize your skin, but it is also is good to keep your skin healthy to hydrate from the inside out! Make sure you drink lots of water when you are traveling to keep your skin hydrated!

4. A Little Goes a Long Way!

When you are traveling, whether it’s a road trip or a long flight, you don’t always feel like doing your makeup! I don’t know about you, but for me, I like to do a little makeup because well it makes me happy and a bit more confident. My pro-tip is if you aren’t going to do a lot of makeup at least do your eyebrows because your eyebrows really do shape your face. I like to use the Mac Fluid line Brow gel creme for the outer part of my eyebrows because it is easier to get a sharper line for the outer part of my brows. For the inner part of my brows closest to my nose, I like to use a pencil because it is easier to control than a gel creme.

5. Hair

My travel tip to you while traveling is to do a hair style that you are most comfortable with! I personally don’t like to wear my hair down when I’m traveling whether in the car or on a plane because I hate my hair going everywhere. I also don’t like to wear my hair in a high ponytail because it makes it difficult to rest your head back in a comfortable position in the seat.  My go-to hair style is a braid because it keeps my hair out of my face while still being comfortable.

These are my favorite beauty tips that I will be using this week on my travel back to Florida! I hope they’ve helped! Make sure to leave comments about your favorite travel beauty tips and tricks!
