Do you ever have those lazy days where getting up feels like a chore? And let’s be real picking out an outfit is the least of your concern, but you still don’t want to look like you’ve just been through a cat fight and dragged through the mud. Well, it’s your lucky day! Here are my lazy day fashion tips.
1. Great Bag
A great bag can turn any boring outfit into a good one. It is one of the easiest ways to upgrade your look without having to put much effort into it. My go-to bag is my cross body Kate Spade bag because it’s light weight and can hold just about anything.
2. Skinny Jeans
Jeans are my go-to piece when I don’t fell like picking out my clothes. Why? Because jeans match everything. Just don’t go over the top with the denim on denim. We don’t need a throwback to Justin and Brittany. My favorite comfy jeans are myLucky Brand Jeans in the fit Brooke Skinny.
You should always have a pair of go-to ballet flats that are comfortable yet oh so fashionable. I recommend getting them in nude because you don’t have to worry about your shoes not matching like EVER. If you are on the shorter side, like me, I’d go with pointy toe ballet flats to elongate your legs. My favorite pair is my Target Ballet Flats. Looking good doesn’t always have to mean spending a lot of money.
Okay, I know if you’re feeling tired you are not going to want to match your jewelry to your outfit, but one good rule of thumb is to always have earrings on. I usually wear stud earrings, again that I get at Target, because if you are anything like me, you will lose them a lot. It’s just not worth buying diamond earrings for them to go missing in a month or two.
So I’m in by no means saying go full face of makeup on lazy days. But what I am saying is a little concealer can go a long way to making you look and feel less tired. My favorite concealer is Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream Eyes. I use the color light/neutral. I also recommend a bit of mascara to open up your eyes. My favorite mascara is the Benefit Roller Lash in the color black.
There you have it, my go-to tips for the days you’re too tired because you pulled an all nighter… studying or otherwise.
